Our Venom Is Our Vote
Looking forward to seeing again as we begin a new year of education and involvement regarding all things "political".
We will be hearing from Rep. Laura Cox - first woman to be appointed to Chair the State House Appropriations Committee.
Rep. Cox will be speaking about her passed bills, bills she is looking to reintroduce/introduce, and her feelings about being such an important part of this new and what has been termed "very conservative" House.
Senator Patrick Colbeck will also be speaking on his continued discussion regarding Direct Primary Healthcare and also on ideas to ensure voter integrity.
Matthew Rojeck will share his testimony and involvement with Mack Avenue Church in Detroit. The church recently purchased the building the we spoke about at our last meeting.
Mack Avenue is positively impacting the community and with the purchase of the new building, their vision to help those in Detroit will be greatly expanded.
Even though they own the building, there are still needs. Matthew will be explaining the ministry and how possibly we could help.
To check out the church and the mission/vision, please go to mackave.com and tap on "The Mack and Harding Church Building Project." The details are all there!
Looking to be more community involved this year. We will be discussing and presenting this idea to you as well.
Hope to see you all on Monday, Feb. 20th and bring a friend!
