Event Description

Many of you came out to our meeting Monday night where Matt Dame presented his case against the Plymouth/Canton high school using a book entitled "Beloved" as required reading in the high school English Literature class.

We are asking every parent, grandparent, taxpayer in the Plymouth/Canton school district to attend the upcoming school board meeting THIS Tuesday, January 24 and let our voices be heard that we find this unacceptable.

So far Matt and Barb have been fighting this pretty much by themselves. Now the story is out and if you find this as disgusting and disturbing as we do, then please, please, please plan on being at 454 S. Harvey Street, Plymouth, MI 48170 by 6:30 PM.

You will be allowed to speak by filling out a card. This card must be turned in prior to the start of the meeting and you will have only 3 - 5 minutes to speak. It is imperative that we get our cards in first as they will allow those to speak in the order received.

Remember - All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

We need you to show up Tuesday, January 24th at 6:30 PM and make our voices heard.

Congratulations to Tony, who got a letter on this published in the Observer. Link

I think he got the point across quite successfully.
