The "Protect Our Republic" team has decided to postpone Thursday, March 19th's meeting.
The decision was made due to the fact that our panelist speakers are also electeds.
People across the nation, and in this state, have witnessed or been impacted by major decisions made beyond their control due to the coronavirus situation.
Some of them literally happening over night - school closings for example.
Not knowing what this week holds and considering the positions of the panel, we thought it wise to let them focus their attention (and duties) on those they serve and represent here in Michigan.
Thank you, Kristina Lyke (candidate for the 8th Congressional District seat) for being so gracious and understanding regarding this decision.
We look forward to hearing from Kristina in the near future regarding her plans and vision for this office.
Stay tuned for the new date and don't forget to: wash your hands, cover your cough, stay home if sick and try not to touch your face.
Protect Our Republic and Protect Our Public!
Protect Our Republic is hosting a panel discussion on the topic of "The Red Flag Laws." Three of Livingston's electeds will provide information on what it is, what it does, and how we can avoid a Virginia situation from coming to Michigan.
Commissioner Wes Nakagiri (District 3), Rep. Ann Bollin (District 42) and Sheriff Mike Murphy will be our guests.
Let's be informed on this very important issue regarding the 2nd Amendment Right.
Also speaking will be Kristina Lyke who is running for the 8th Congressional seat currently held by Elissa Slotkin.
Come meet and hear Kristina's plan and vision for this office. She is working hard to earn your vote in August's Primary.
