Attn: Still need 36! Call Gary Peters/Mark Schauer (updated 10/8/09)

Mark Schauer co-sponsored a bill, HR 554, that would require any non-emergency bills to be posted online for all to read 72 hours before a vote is taken (you know, like that transparency Obama talked about during his campaign). Nancy Pelosi is trying to block this from coming to the floor for a vote. There is a discharge petition to go around her and immediately bring the bill to the floor for a vote. I love the Lord, I love my family, and I love my country. I was in DC on 9/12, and the feeling of love for my country and our constitution, and my countrymen surrounding me filled me up so greatly that I felt like I was near to bursting! I felt so protective of what we have in the USA, our freedoms, and of my family and their future here. I always wondered what feeling inspired soldiers to die for their country, and I believe now I have felt that feeling.
