“It is in this context—from the perspective of the bloody millennia of mankind's history—that I want you to look at the birth of a miracle: the United States of America. If it is ever proper for men to kneel, we should kneel when we read the Declaration of Independence.
“The concept of individual rights is so prodigious a feat of political thinking that few men grasp it fully—and two hundred… Continue

Many of us in the Liberty movement or "tea party" movement have advocated for our inclusion and/or acceptance into the modern Republican party. But how much do you really know about the "roots" of the Republicans?
Did you know that the Michigan GOP currently has no State Platform, and that we are to follow the National Platform adopted in 2008?
Here's a novel idea: Why don't… Continue

Attached are actual pages of the Tea Party formation petition filed with the MI SOS on July 14, 2010.
Looking at the wording, logo, etc., there appears to be potentially misleading aura that this was the product of the actual and legitimate Tea Parties of Michigan.
It was circulated by Mark Steffek from the Saginaw area of MI, has unreported funding, and is joined by a Limited Liability Company (LLC) called, "The Tea Party, LLC."
This petition is the topic of the 7/23/2010… Continue

I'm wondering if patriotm1 has received any answers regarding the nefarious Mi Tea Party petition. Is anyone taking action to try to stop this party from getting on the ballot??? Are any Tea Party or Republicans leaders acting on this? Does any one have any info??

I thought I would add another post on the subject of “Politically Correct” which just the mention of those words absolutely infuriates me. This one will not be politically correct, and is just this American’s opinion.
I feel that our government officials have no pride in their country any longer. Mayor Bloomberg in NY should have stopped the building of this mammoth Mosque project at Ground Zero.
Now, it was evident to me, when Bush decided to go to war in Iraq,… Continue

Just who are the “Political Correct” Police? How did they get that job and what are their qualifications? I want to know, who I have to look out for when I give an opinion.
I want to know just when do the words “Politically Correct” apply to how Americans feel about a subject? I made a comment on a friends blog a few days ago, and decided to run the post on my blog. I feel that strongly about the subject, so here it… Continue

The estimable Francisco Marroquin University in Guatemala has just posted 15 hours of interviews with F. A. Hayek, conducted in 1978, four years after he won the Nobel Prize for Economics.
You know the interviewee is important when the interviewers include James M. Buchanan, Robert Bork, Armen Alchian, Axel Leijonhufvud, and Leo Rosten. Along with the streaming video, there’s a complete…

First Florida, now Michigan. Progressives/liberal operatives try continue to subvert the election process by fraudulently circulating petitions to form an "official Tea Party" for state ballots.
Florida and Michigan are among some of the more active Tea Party states. Forming parties and circulating extensive petitions is costly. It logically follows that the high grass roots activity states are being targeted with the highest priority. All states, groups, and individuals should be… Continue
