Ballot proposals can be confusing, especially when they are worded in a way the makes them sound good.

RWU suggests the following:

Proposal 1 ~ YES

Proposal 2 ~ NO

Proposal 3 ~ NO

Proposal 4 ~ NO

Proposal 5 ~ YES

Proposal 6 ~ YES

As always, it is up to you to be an informed voter. Attached, are fliers that detail the proposals and their affects.

Support of Proposal 1 is very important.... Just the THREAT that the State can step in forces Municipalities to GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER or face the consequences. NO LONGER would/should one city be allowed to continue failed Liberal policies and EXTORT MONEY from the rest of their County and/or the State to continually bail them out while continuing to mis-manage their Budgets!!!!

 

Proposal 3 is going to NECESSARILY SKYROCKET your Electric costs on the State level, just as Obama and the Liberals are purposefully doing on the National level. When every Liberal has Solar Panels on their OWN roof and a Windmill in their OWN backyard, then they can tell the rest of us what to do. Let them bare the burden of the costs of the energy they wish, not impose the increases upon ALL of us so they can pretend to care!

 

Proposal 4 is particularly UNJUST.... The Unions want to force MEDIC-AID recipients (those receiving MedicAid, for taking care of a home-bound loved one) to have some of their MedicAid money diverted to the Union. The Unions CANNOT negotiate MedicAid rules/payments, they just want to extort the funds from people they will NOT protect or provide any benefit to! LAWS provide protections for the care-giver and the one receiving care, the Union has NO PLACE there!

Man, the unions are shooting for the moon.  How many other states' constitutions are they trying to change for their own purposes and to the detriment of everyone else?

Michigan Initiatives on the November 2012 ballot:

A.    Stand up for Democracy: 
        Seeks to invoke the right of referendum for the Emergency manager:   Vote:   YES - Is a vote for support of the law.

B.    To create a new right of collective bargaining:   Vote:   NO
 
C.    Require utilities to obtain at least 25% of their electricity from clean renewable energy sources.  Vote:   NO

D.    Affordable Home Care Council will provide collective bargaining rights to HomeCare providers (required Union Dues to SEIU will be mandatory).    Vote:   NO

E.    Imposition of new taxes or expansion of the base taxation unless approved by 2/3 majority of members of in each chambers of state Congress.     Vote:   Yes

F.     The People Should Decide which is the "Bridge Initiative by letting the people decide:   Vote:  Your call, !
