I've noticed, especially within the last fifteen to twenty years, that Democrats and Republicans hate each other so much, they just say the opposite of what each party says. For example, since Republicans are fully embracing a lazziare-faire free market, Democrats are slowly shifting towards socialism. Somewhere within the argument, I think Republicans started rejecting nature and being green, simply because democrats upheld it. (Either that, or they are being funded by oil companies.) I realize that global warming is a hoax, however, aside from this, why are Conservative so opposed to the earth? Alternative forms of energy, recycling, saving the earth, etc... Why are Conservatives so opposed to that? I swear, if conservatives started embracing nature and agreeing with the democrats, and then using nature as an argument again't gay marriage, all the liberals would just short circuit.

I agree. The money should come from the military fund though.

solar wind nukes water all produce energy.  we should invest in all of them but at a time when the country can afford it.  the cost of doing business has been degrading profits and causing hikes in prices.  the driver of these costs are two fold, energy and uncertantity.  the high rate of unemployment has been and will remain high until the cost of doing business returns to normal levels.  we don't have the luxury of waiting until a freight truck is able to go long distances using electric  or solar panels or windmills.  to be realistic we will continue to pay high oil prices to countries that hate our guts.  Irony, the country degrades economically while the green eople play with their toys

We don't need to pay out of our money, we have the technology.

The world is warming, but because we are still warming up after the ice age, and we will continue to do so. Moreover, CO2 levels fluctuate randomly. However, this is not a reason for us not to invest in solar energy. And according to some studies, we have the technology to move to solar energy, and stop oil, however, oil companies are paying big money to make sure that technology isn't made public.

I really don't believe they hate each other, there is probably a strong dislike for what each party espouses.  I am fairly certain there are democrates and republicans that will not say what they truly believe.  Probably because they don't want to be viewed as turncoats by the more radical elements of their parties.  flatout lies about global warming have been proven by e-mail discoveries.  Some expers say there is warming, others say not true.  The global warming crowd has a huge financial stake in green energy.  Unfortunately the tax payer has shouldered the cost of research and watched as one company after another has closed.  We don't need to stop producing more oil at a time time when the cost of fuel has sky rocketed.  Why should conservatives agree with something that they oppose.  Like telling christian churches they have to provide abortion products to employees.  The lower class is being burdened by the cost of existing, let alone living. I'm not one of the real intelligents types, but common sense tells me that severe prolonged increase in the cost of fuel will raise retail prices.  The poor get hit with a double whammy, the cost of fueling their cars and paying higher prices for goods.  I can safely say that those affects don't disdcriminate between rich or poor.  The administration in power is generally the generator of good or bad policy.  The one in power at this time is a good example of the latter.
