RE: School Funding Cuts P-CCS Staff to host a public meeting at Plymouth Library May 19th 6:00 - 8:00pm

I am a relative newcomer to RWU and I hope this is an OK way to get this meesage out. I'm sure some of you may already know, but just wanted to make sure. Please spread the word...I was just informed from a teacher.

P-CCS (Plymouth-Canton Public School) Staff will be hosting a public meeting on May 19th from 6:00 to 8:00pm, at the Plymouth District Library. There will be a P-CCS video about the impact of school funding cuts, etc.

This should be interesting, and may be worth the time to see how they present this information. My wife and I have two children in the P-CCS district, and they have already sent a letter home with them, essentially blaming proposal A and its effect on property tax revenue in this current economic state as one of the big issues. I'm not sure if its just me but always seems like they want to just increase funding, and will probably use all kinds of scare tactics in the process. Should be an interesting meeting!
